HOSPICE HILL CLIMB SERIES - 2012

With the great success of the 2011 events, things have gone up a gear for this years Hospice Hill Climb Series.  Over £200 was raised for St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston last year and it's hoped we can beat that this year.  In addition, it was great to see so many new faces at the events.

So, while we were all eating mince pies over Christmas, Howard Lindow of the Lakes Road Club was doing a fantastic job checking out possible courses and pulling together no less than 7 events for this coming season. 
We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Howard for doing all the unglamorous work (police forms, CTT authorisations, badgering possible sponsors and the like) - the stuff we all take for granted when we just turn up and ride.
