From: Paul Revell (Audax UK)
Paul has asked me to bring your attention to 3 AudaxUK events which are taking place from the Lakes School,
Troutbeck in May this year. Distances are 100km, 200km and 300km.
All the information is in the flyer here.
As you can see, they're a lot cheaper than sportives, you just
need to follow the navigation info given. You even get some food!
Note that you don't need to be a member of AudaxUK to enter an event. If you are not a member, then a surcharge of £2
per event entered will be levied.
There's more info on the Audax UK website -

From: SEISMIC EVENTS -
www.seismic-events.co.uk
We are a small team of cyclists in the Lake District, creating
events for cyclists.
This year we have 4 sportives: THE
LAKELAND CLASSICS SERIES (Shap Spring classic, Tour of the High
Passes, and Ride of the Fallen Leaves) and the KESWICK 246
SPORTIVE
We offer Si timing, well-stocked feed stations, mechanical back-up, medics, and clearly marked routes
through quiet lanes with stunning views and terrain. We also offer, where facilities allow, hot food at
the end and a place to relax, chat and rest on your laurels ... !
We keep our event fees low but still manage to give a portion of every rider's entry fee to the venue
we use - either the school or the memorial hall - so that local communities benefit from our events.
If you need any further information please don't hesitate to contact us. If you can support us -
it would be great to see you.
With kind regards,
Diana

From Adam Pickthall - re:
Stuart Hall Cycling
Greetings fellow pedal pushers!
Following another
massively successful year of hosting Early Season Training Camps,
Dream cycling holiday specialist Stuart Hall is once again, by
popular demand, running an end of season camp throughout the
month of October in Mallorca.
Based again at the Pollensa
Park Hotel, the camp is the ideal opportunity to wind down on
some well surfaced quiet roads. With the climate still hot it's a
great way to shorten the winter, especially as the Winter leg
warmer camp starts running again in January and February 2015,
and the season kicks off all over again.
It is my honest
opinion that out of all the months to cycle in Mallorca, October is
by far the best. The roads are quiet (not the madness of March),
it's still warm!, it's cheaper with the kids back at school! and
everybody's there to enjoy the biking! not taking it too serious.
October special offer: Book by 31st August 2014 for 7
nights half-board including all drinks in the restaurant (wine,
beer, and soft drinks), return airport transfers and a choice of
rides for just £295 per person (based on two people sharing). He also offers self-catering apartments for £225 per person for
7 days, including airport transfers, based on two people per
apartment, with half-board option, for an additional £150 to dine in
the restaurant.
A great chance to get out and see what it's
really all about, meeting new people, seeing new places, with plenty
of coffee and cake! followed of course by a little bit of after
ride partying!!! Come and join the community!

And, for anyone who still has post Fred form, Stu
still has last minute entries into La Marmotte & Trophee de
l’Oisans 2014 Sportives! The Marmotte is one of the toughest
sportives in Europe. Starting in Bourg d’Oisans and finishing in
Alpe d’Huez, the 187km route takes in four of the great classic
Alpine climbs, a total elevation gain of over 5,000 metres! We
are based at Alpe d'Huez, and he's offering a minimum 3 nights for
£150 including transfers, £60 guaranteed entry, and an optional
£20 a day half board supplement.
Check out the site

further options for a longer trip - or contact me on 07709750423
