Congratulations to Anne Plant who won the 2008
World Masters Women's Road Race Championship in Austria.
She beat USA rider Susan Shook by nine seconds after the pair had broken away from the main field on the first climb of the day on the 42km circuit. Anne dedicated the victory to her father-in-law, Stanislaw Syska, who sadly passed away while she was abroad cycling. Anne now has an incredible 7 World Masters Championship wins to her credit. |
