HOSPICE HILL CLIMB SERIES - 2015

Categories...

There will be 5 categories for racers this year...

WOMEN For any females over 18 years old on the day of the race.
MEN For males aged 18-44 years on the day of the race.
VETERANS    For males aged 45 years or more on the day of the race
JUNIORS For riders aged between 12-18 years old on the day of the race. All riders in this category must have a signed parental consent form with them to be allowed to race on an open road. This can be downloaded from the CTT Website here,  or contact Howie to get a paper copy.
MOUNTAIN BIKE     This category is open to persons of all ages and either sex. This is to encourage people who wouldn't normally race. Any bikes will be accepted as long as they are what most people would call a mountain bike - any disputes will be decided by the race organiser at the race. Broadly speaking a mountain bike is specified for these races as a bicycle with 'horizontal' handlebars, 'knobbly' tyres of at least 2 inches depth, built primarily to be ridden off road.

Inter-Club Competition...

The inter-club competition between Lakes Road Club and Barrow Central Wheelers will be decided on the final event only for 2015, the Knotallow HC on 13th August 2015.  This is to contest the Hill Climb Victory trophy which will be handed to the winning club at the end of the season.

The scores are an accumulation of the times posted by the fastest two riders from each club for the Knottallow event.
